Femke Gubbels

Femke works at the intersection of urban resilience, climate adaptation, disaster risk management, and environmental policy. Over the past six years, she has supported cities and governments across South and Southeast Asia, the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East to develop strategies and implement climate resilience projects. She holds a Master of Science in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on sustainable development from Leiden University, Netherlands. Her research on urban climate adaptation has been published in Environment and Urbanization.
