John is an applied economist with 25 years of experience in socio-economic analysis across the Greater Mekong Subregion and broader Asia. He holds a PhD in the political economy of energy policy and climate change mitigation in Southeast Asia from the University of East Anglia (UK), an MSc in Economics from the University of London, and an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Glasgow.
