About: This project was part of the Danish Indonesia Environmental Sector Programme. The purpose of the support was to assist the Ministry of Environment in Indonesia KHL) to  apply SEA in environmental planning. The project incorporated the identification of pilot activities, development of work plans for undertaking SEAs, development of guidance documents and extraction of lessons learned.
Project activities included:

• Provision of the SEA expert for elaboration of guidance document on the application of SEA in various planning contexts in Indonesia
• Development of guidance on the integration of climate change issues into SEAs processes and evaluating lessons learnt from the first 3 years of SEA capacity development in Indonesia.
