Disaster Risk Reduction

ICEM addresses all aspects of disaster risk reduction in areas affected by landslides, floods, earthquakes, and drought—hazards that damage infrastructure, disrupt economies, and threaten lives and livelihoods.

We apply an innovative set of tools and processes to identify and reduce hazard-related risks to communities and infrastructure. These include advanced GIS analysis, multi-hazard risk modeling, vulnerability assessments, and targeted capacity building. Our focus is on strengthening disaster risk governance, integrating risk into development planning, and building resilience through community-based solutions.
